A Sportsgirl Kind of Girl

Sportsgirl is one of those stores that I usually avoid.

This is because I know that as soon as I step foot inside, the gloriousness of the clothes within will overcome my sense of financial instability, and I'll be forced to make at least one fabulous purchase.

Or something less dramatic along those lines.

Seriously though, Sportsgirl is great. Especially for those my situation, who are interested in fashion and can't stop buying new clothes, but don't even let themselves contemplate shopping at the high end fashion stores. One look at my bank account is enough to know that isn't an option. I'm not sponsored by anyone (I wish), and the days of asking my parents for money (especially for clothes) are long gone.

But back to Sportsgirl. Its clothes are wearable enough for everyday, but have the added bonus of great quality fabric, and designs that are on-trend and creative enough to sate a girl's fashion needs.

I realised one day that I was wearing an outfit made completely out of Sportsgirl. I'm talking jumper, dress, coat, boots and even tights. I did a little bit of a photo shoot on my street, using my new camera and a willing friend-turned-photographer for the day.

Now, I want to say something. I'm not a model (I'm sure this won't come as a surprise) and I actually feel quite awkward in front of the lense. I'm a good few inches too short, ungraceful and never know where to put my arms in photos (am I the only one with this issue?) Plus, don't get me started on my hips.

But I like the outfits I put together and well, taking photos of them seems like the blogger thing to do these days. Also, it's pretty fun.

Sportsgirl did not endorse these photos in any way (although it would be awesome if they did.)
