Casual Summer Layers

Sometimes (okay maybe most of the time) it seems like we have nothing to wear. We might have just bought a new top or pair of pants, but then the day just doesn't seem right for them. Either it's the wrong occasion, or the weather is being temperamental. Or maybe it's because we're just bored of everything we own.

Whatever the reason, when you're standing in front of your wardrobe in confusion, sometimes the best solution is to drag out a few pieces that you've never put together before, and go for it. That's what I did today and in hindsight I'm thinking, how did I not see this combination before?

Also, I dyed my hair!

Adding a vest to casual outfits adds another something interesting and often 

works to pull two peices together. I like tying it over loose layers to 

bring my waist in a little.
